Statistics - Statistics of Block Data - Block Columns/Rows - Sums

Ribbon Bar. Select the Statistics tab. In the Tools group, click Block Data Stats and on either the Block Columns submenu or the Block Rows submenu, select Sums.

Classic menus: On either the Statistics - Statistics of Block Data - Block Columns submenu or the Statistics - Statistics of Block Data - Block Rows submenu, select Sums.

You can compute the sum for each row or column in a selected block in the spreadsheet.

The sums are computed and displayed in a new spreadsheet as columns or rows. Selecting Statistics of Block Data - Block Columns displays the resulting statistic in a row and the case name includes the name of the selected statistic and the range description. Selecting Statistics of Block Data - Block Rows displays the resulting statistic in a column and the variable name contains the name of the selected statistic and the range description.

Note: You can also access this option by right-clicking on a selected block in the spreadsheet and selecting Statistics of Block Data - Block Columns/Rows - Sums from the Spreadsheet View shortcut menu.
