Quality Control Charts Startup Panel - Real-Time Tab

Select the Real-time tab of the Quality Control Charts Startup Panel to access the options described here.

Standard operation: Direct all graphs, charts, and results spreadsheets to default output container (e.g. workbooks, reports, etc.).
workbooks, reports, etc.). Select this option if you do not want your charts auto-updated. Note that in this mode of operation, the Quality Control program works like all other Statistica modules: Results graphs and spreadsheets can be selected interactively, and they will automatically be transferred to the output "container" as chosen on the Output Manager (i.e., to workbooks, reports, etc.). However, interactive brushing of samples or automatic updating of charts is not available in this mode.
Auto-update all graphs, charts, and results spreadsheets in real-time; individual windows will be used
Select this option to auto-update all graphs, charts (e.g., histograms, OC plots, etc.), and spreadsheets when the data are updated. In this mode of operation, all graphs and spreadsheets will automatically be directed to individual windows on the screen. These output documents will automatically be updated any time that the relevant source data change. Thus, this method of operation is specifically designed for real-time interactive quality control monitoring.
Auto-hide all results (e.g. charts) of non-active analyses.
charts) of non-active analyses. Select this check box to auto-hide results of non-active analyses. This option is useful to auto-update (and monitor in real time) multiple charts, but to avoid "cluttering" the screen (only the charts associated with the currently active analysis will be displayed). This option is identical to the analogous global option in the Analysis/Graph Display Options dialog box or the Analyses/Graphs: Display tab of the Options dialog box.
Automatically produce the default summary chart
Select this check box to automatically create the respective default chart when the results dialog is first displayed. The setting of this check box will become the default for future analysis sessions as well.

Note:

1) Only when the Auto-update all graphs, charts, and results spreadsheets in real-time... option button (located in the group box) is selected, will the lower two options (Auto-hide all results... and Automatically produce the default summary chart) become the default setting.

2) When the Standard operation; Direct all graphs, charts, and results spreadsheets... option button (located in the group box) is selected, the lower two options (Auto-hide all results... and Automatically produce the default summary chart) do NOT become the default setting. They only persist for the currently active instance of the QC module.

3) Also, if the Standard operation; Direct all graphs, charts, and results spreadsheets... option button (located in the group box) is selected, the default settings for the lower two options (Auto-hide all results... and Automatically produce the default summary chart) are reset to the system default.
