SPC Charts - Vertical Delimiter

Use this tab to define the following parameters:

Element Name Description
Vertical delimiting information type Use this dropdown list to define what type of vertical delimiting information to use on charts :
  • None. No vertical delimiters will be shown on charts.
  • Use vertical delimiter. If this option is selected, the analysis will look for variables named *_DELIMITER for each characteristic (where '*' is the name of the characteristic) and use the value of the variable to place a vertical line and label to denote the delimitation on the charts.
  • Identify sets of samples. If this option is selected, the analysis will place a vertical delimiter line and text label denoting the change in limits to create different sets based on the various sets of limits, center line and sigma values provided in the input data using the default QC analysis module functionality.
Variable to use as set identifier This Select button displays a Select variable dialog box where you can define a variable that specifies the labels to use as set identifier when the option to set vertical delimiting in the option above is set to "identify sets of samples."

If you define this variable, the set names will be retrieved from the variable. If not, the default set names in the QC analysis module will be used (ie, Set 1, Set 2, ...).
