Compressed Data
Procedure
- Select the Home tab.
- In the File group, click the Open arrow.
- Select Compressed Data from the Get External Data - PI submenu to display the PI Compressed Data dialog.
Result
Use the options on this dialog to query the PI database for compressed (recorded) data values.
Search the database for compressed data by specifying a begin and end time or by specifying the begin time and the number of records to return.
This search method also provides options to search forward or backward. Options for specifying boundaries, filtering the data (refer to your PI documentation for details about filtering), and merging results are also provided.
