Fast Independent Component Analysis Results Dialog - Advanced Tab
Select the Advanced tab of the Fast Independent Component Analysis Results dialog box to access the options described here.
Element Name | Element Type | Description |
---|---|---|
Summary | Button | Displays the ICA model settings and specifications in spreadsheet format. |
Whitening matrix | Button | Prints the whitening matrix for the principal components in spreadsheet format. |
Covariance matrix | Button | Displays the covariance matrix of the variables. This matrix is used for whitening the signals as a form of pre-processing. |
Eigenvalues | Button | Displays the eigenvalues of the covariance matrix in spreadsheet format. |
Mixing matrix | Button | Displays the mixing matrix for the ICA model. |
Non-gaussian matrix | Button | Displays the final state of the non-Gaussian matrix in spreadsheet format at the point where the algorithm converged. |
Eigenvector | Button | Displays in spreadsheet format the eigenvectors of the covariance matrix. |
Scree plot | Button | Displays a line plot of the eigenvalues of the covariance matrix. |
Summaries for variables | Box | This group box contains the following four options (Descriptives, Line plots, Histograms, Scatterplots): |
Descriptives | Button | Displays in spreadsheet format the descriptive statistics (mean, variance, minimum and maximum) of the principal components. |
Line plots | Button | Generates line plots of the principal components. |
Histograms | Button | Displays the principal components in histogram format (one graph per component). |
Scatterplots | Button | Displays graphs(s) of the principal components of the ICA model in scatterplot format. If you have three components, for instance, 3 scatterplots will be displayed, the first of which will be the plot of component 1 against components 2, the second of which will be the plot of component 1 against components 3, and, finally, the plot of component 2 against components 3. |
