Defining Variables for . . .

Select an analysis from the Quick tab or the Variables tab of the Quality Control Charts for Variable Lists Startup Panel and click the OK button to display the Defining Variables for (variable control charts) dialog box. This dialog box contains one tab: Quick.

Note: the appearance of the options on this tab may differ if the respective chart applies to individual observations (n-per-sample = 1), or sample summaries (n-per-sample > 1); in the latter case, various options for defining the sample sizes and minimum sample sizes (for valid samples) are available; these are not applicable for charts for individual observations.
