t-Test for Zero Correlation: Interval Estimation

Noncentrality Interval Estimation and the Evaluation of Statistical Models

On the Power Analysis and Interval Estimation Startup Panel - Quick tab, select Interval Estimation in the left pane and One Correlation, t-Test in the right pane, and click the OK button to display the t-Test for Zero Correlation: Interval Estimation dialog box, which contains two tabs: Quick and Settings I/O.

Compute
Click the Compute button to compute the confidence interval and display the results in a spreadsheet. This spreadsheet contains the input parameters for the analysis the 2-sided p-value for the observed correlation (based on the method of calculation employed), and the upper and lower limits the confidence interval on ρ.
Back
Click the Back button to return to the Startup Panel without saving any changes that have been entered in this dialog box.
Restore Defaults
Click the Restore Defaults button to restore current default values to all the settings in this dialog box and others that perform calculations on the test on a single correlation.
Options
Click the Options button to display the Options menu.
