t-Test for Zero Correlation: Interval Estimation
Noncentrality Interval Estimation and the Evaluation of Statistical Models
On the Power Analysis and Interval Estimation Startup Panel - Quick tab, select Interval Estimation in the left pane and One Correlation, t-Test in the right pane, and click the OK button to display the t-Test for Zero Correlation: Interval Estimation dialog box, which contains two tabs: Quick and Settings I/O.
- Compute
- Click the Compute button to compute the confidence interval and display the results in a spreadsheet. This spreadsheet contains the input parameters for the analysis the 2-sided p-value for the observed correlation (based on the method of calculation employed), and the upper and lower limits the confidence interval on ρ.
- Back
- Click the Back button to return to the Startup Panel without saving any changes that have been entered in this dialog box.
- Restore Defaults
- Click the Restore Defaults button to restore current default values to all the settings in this dialog box and others that perform calculations on the test on a single correlation.
- Options
- Click the Options button to display the Options menu.
