Design of a Latin Square Experiment - Add to Design Tab

Latin Square Overview

Select the Add to design tab in the Design of a Latin Square Experiment dialog box to access options to add points or columns to the standard design.

Add to the design
Use the options in the Add to the design group box to add points or columns to the standard design. Note that the settings in the box (i.e., adding replicates) will only affect the displayed design (via option Summary: Display design) and the display of the Actual Latin square. The changes will not affect the results displayed in the Summary box area of the dialog. The results displayed there will always reflect the characteristics of the original design.
Number of genuine replicates
Enter the number of replications to use in the Number of genuine replicates box. For example, if you enter a 1 into this box, then STATISTICA will add one replicate to the design, resulting in two identical Latin square designs.
Number of blank columns (dep. vars.).
). Enter the number of columns to add to the displayed design in the Number of blank columns (dep. vars.) box. This option is useful if you want to print the spreadsheet with those extra columns to use as a convenient data entry form.
