Specify the Arrangement of the Factors in the Plot

Click any of the Plot buttons on either the GLM, GRM, and ANOVA Results - Means tab, the GLZ Results - Means tab, or the GLM, GRM, and ANOVA More Results - Means tab to display the Specify the arrangement of the factors in the plot dialog box. Note that this dialog box will also be displayed when you click the OK button in the Table of all Effects dialog box if you have selected an interaction Effect and have the Graph option button selected in the Display group box. When plotting means for interactions, you can control the assignment of design factors to the line patterns, upper x-axis, and lower x-axis. Note that the name of this dialog may be Arrangement of Factors and the x-axis, lower field (see below) will not be available.

Element Name Description
Line pattern Select the design factor that you want STATISTICA to use for the line pattern of the means plot in the Line pattern field.
x-axis, upper Select the design factor that you want STATISTICA to use for the scaling on the upper x-axis of the means plot in the x-axis, upper field.
x-axis, lower Select the design factor that you want STATISTICA to use for the scaling on the lower x-axis of the means plot in the x-axis, lower field.
OK Click the OK button to close this dialog box and produce the means plot.
Display all segments of the graph in one "line" For a 3-way or higher order interaction, select the Display all segments of the graph in one "line" check box to display all plots in each categorical graph in a single "line," i.e., side by side in one row of plots. If you clear this option, the plots may be shown in multiple rows (if they do not fit in a single row). Note that if more than three factors need to be plotted, then the plot is produced in "chunks" within the levels of the other (not-selected) factors.
