Query - Retrieving Data

If the Maximum row text box in the Returning External Data to Spreadsheet dialog box is set to less than the total number of rows in the data file you are querying, the Query - Retrieving Data dialog is displayed once you click the Run now button. The dialog displays the statement, "The running query has retrieved X (where X is the number in the Maximum row text box) cases. Would you like to continue retrieving data?"

Element Name Description
Retrieve all records Select this check box to have your query select all the rows in the data file.
Continue Click the Continue button to proceed with your query. If you do not select the Retrieve all records check box, your query will continue to retrieve records in increments of X. For example, if the Maximum row text box contains 10000, and your data file contains 50,000 rows, the dialog will continue to be displayed after each retrieval of 10,000 rows.
Cancel Click the Cancel button to exit from the Query - Retrieving Data dialog and return to Statistica without running the query.
