Select the Labels, Causes, Actions tab of the Defining Variables for Variability Chart dialog box to access the option described here.

Get sample labels from

Select this check box if you want to get sample labels from a variable. Then click the corresponding Variable button to display a standard variable selection dialog box to select the variable.
