Statistica Document Types

The Statistica object model is based around the different document types that can be created by the application.

The document types include:

• document is the data container for the Statistica application.
• document contains text and graphics summarizing analysis results.
• document is a container for other Statistica documents, displayed in an explorer-style tree view.
• document provides a workspace interface for managing analysis projects. Within the workspace, nodes are used to perform the tasks of the project.
• document is a Statistica Visual Basic (SVB) program.
• document is used to display all of Statistica's rich set of graphs.
• documents maps a database query to a Statistica data source.
• container document allows Microsoft Word and Excel documents to be hosted within the Statistica Application.
