Data Miner Recipes UI

Initially Data Miner Recipes Tab contains one tab, Recipes. Use the options on the Recipes tab to open previously saved Data Miner files (with extension *.SDM). To open a file displayed in the Recipes name pane, double-click on the file name. Click the New button on the Recipes tab to start new projects.

You can access the Data Miner recipes dialog box in the following ways:

  • Ribbon bar: Select the Data Mining tab. In the Recipes group, click Data Miner Recipes to display the Data Miner Recipes dialog box.
  • Classic menus: From the Data Mining menu, select Data Miner Recipes to display the Data Miner Recipes dialog box.

Element Name Description
New Creates a new Data Miner Recipes project and Steps tab is displayed, which allows you to begin data mining.
Open Opens a previously saved project.
Note: To open a project displayed in the Open existing recipes pane, select the project name and click this button. If you have not selected a project name, clicking this button displays the Open dialog box, which you can use to select a file that is not listed in the Open existing recipes pane.
Open existing recipes Displays the names of the most recently saved files (Name column) and indicates the date the file was created or last modified.

Note: You can load individual projects by either double-clicking on the name in the Name column or by selecting the project name and then clicking the Open button.
