Random Forest Specifications

Click the OK button on the

Startup Panel after selecting the Type of analysis to be performed (Classification Analysis or Regression Analysis) to display the Random Forest Specifications dialog box.

For Regression analyses, this dialog box will contain three tabs: Quick, Advanced, and Stopping Condition.
For Classification analyses, the dialog box will contain these three tabs as well as a
Classification
tab.

OK

Click the OK button to display the Random Forest Results dialog box.

Cancel

Click the Cancel button to close the dialog box and return to the Random Forest Startup Panel.

Options

Click the Options button to display the Options menu.

Select Cases

Click the Select Cases button to display the Analysis/Graph Case Selection Conditions dialog box, which is used to create conditions for which cases will be included (or excluded) in the current analysis. More information is available in the case selection conditions overview, syntax summary, and dialog description.

Note: other options are provided in the subsequent dialogs to specifically identify observations that are to be used as a test sample (see also the Overview for details).

W

Click the W (Weight) button to display the Analysis/Graph Case Weights dialog box, which is used to adjust the contribution of individual cases to the outcome of the current analysis by weighting those cases in proportion to the values of a selected variable. In the ERROR: Variable (product_name) is undefined.Random Forest module, weights are interpreted as simple case multipliers.
