Analysis Configuration: Calculated Variables

Expand the Analysis Configuration node in tree view, and then expand the SPC Characteristics node and select the Calculated Variables node to display the Calculated Variables options in the properties page. Use these options to define calculated variables when the desired characteristics to monitor is a function (e.g., log transform, difference score, standardized score, etc.) of one or more measurements being collected.

Name

Displays the name that will be shown for the Variable in the Statistica spreadsheet.

Formula

Displays the formula using the Spreadsheet Formula Syntax that defines the calculations for the calculated Variable.

IQC Variable

Displays whether this calculated Variable is a Characteristic having a Chart Type associated with it.

Add

Click this button to add a new Calculated Variable. The Calculated Variable property sheet will be shown for this new Calculated Variable.

Edit

Click this button to edit the selected Calculated Variable.

Delete

Click this button to delete the selected Calculated Variable.

Delete All

Click this button to delete all of the Calculated Variables.
