Report: Main View
Right-click on the Reports node in the tree view and select New Report to create a new Report object. The Report options are displayed in the properties page. Alternatively, you can select an already-existing Report from the tree view to display these options.
Name
Optionally, enter or edit a name for the Report in the Name box.
Description
Optionally, enter or edit a description for the Report in the Description box.
Version
This box displays any previous versions of this Report that may exist.
Versions
Click this button to select a previous version of the Report. That version of the Report will be checked out and checked back in as the latest version.
System View Placement
This box shows the current placement (i.e., to what folder the Report is attached, if any) of the current Report in the System View. Attachments to multiple folders are permitted.
Attach
Click this button to display the Select a folder dialog. You can then attach the Report to an existing folder.
Detach
Click this button to detach the Report from the selected folder in the System View Placement box.
Locate
Click this button to show the selected folder to which this report is attached. The System View node in tree view will expand (if necessary), and the cursor will briefly 'flash' between highlighting the folder to which the report is attached and the report itself.
Run
Click this button to run the selected report.
Edit Report
Select this button to run the associated analysis configurations and generate the output to edit the report template that will determine the layout and formatting of the report.
Re-sizing Spreadsheet
A report may be displayed compressed to a smaller scale if it has many rows and columns.
You can change this view horizontally and/or vertically for viewing or printing in two ways:
- To maximize it, you can drag it out to its full actual size .
- To minimize it, you can drag it smaller to half its actual size.
Run specific version
Click this button to run the selected report allowing the option to select which version to run.
Test Report
Click this button to test the running of the selected report. The test run will run the report, but will not run the scheduling if defined.
Access Permissions
Click this button to display the Access Permissions options in the properties page ( User and Group permission options).
Expand the report in the system view to edit or view further options for this report including the associated analysis configurations to be run with the report.
