Find
You can access the Find dialog box in the following ways:
- Ribbon bar. Select the Edit tab. In the Find/Replace group, click Find to display the Find dialog box.
- Classic menus. On the Edit menu, select Find to display the Find dialog box.
Use these options to search for a value, word, or phrase in a Case name, Variable name, Row, or Column.

| Find what | Type the value, word, or phrase you want to find in the Find what box. |
| Search in | Use the options in the Search in group box to narrow your search. |
| Case names | Select the Case names option button to perform a find function by case name only. |
| Variable names | Select the Variable names option button to perform a find function by variable name only. |
| Selected Rows | Select the Selected Rows option button to perform a find function by row (i.e. case, excluding the case name). |
| Selected Columns | Select the Selected Columns option button to perform a find function by column (i.e. variable, excluding the variable name). |
| Match case | Select the Match case check box to ensure that the values being found are the same case as the value in the Find what field. |
| Find entire cell only | Select the Find entire cell only check box to narrow the search criteria to replace only the cells whose entire contents exactly match the value entered in the Find what field. |
| Find Next | Click the Find Next button to begin your search after you have selected all of the desired options. |
| Cancel | Click the Cancel button to end the search. |
