General Classification and Regression Trees - Between Design

Note: Missing data (and surrogate splits). Missing data in predictor variables are handled differently in the General Classification and Regression Trees (GC&RT) module as compared to the Interactive Trees module. Because the Interactive Trees module does not support ANCOVA-like design matrices, it is more flexible in the handling of missing data. Refer to Missing Data in GC&RT, GCHAID, and Interactive Trees for additional details.
Tree #
This edit field is used to select a tree in the tree sequence that was generated in the pruning process. By default it will show the current best-size tree, consistent with the currently chosen criteria for selecting that tree (e.g., via v-fold cross-validation; see also the Introductory Overview for details). The number entered will select the respective tree from the list of consecutive trees (see also the Tree sequence and All tree layouts options on the
