Review Descriptive Statistics

Select the Review descriptive statistics and correlation matrix check box on the Canonical Analysis Startup Panel - Quick tab and click the OK button in the Startup Panel to display the Review Descriptive Statistics dialog box.

It contains three tabs:
  • Quick
  • Advanced
  • Matrix

Use the options in the Review Descriptive Statistics dialog box to compute detailed descriptive statistics for the variables in analysis. This dialog box is available only if the Review descriptive statistics and correlation matrix check box is selected.

Element Name Element Type Description
Summary Box Displays general summary results for the current analysis.
Copy Button

Copies either the selected text (if text has been selected) in the Summary box or all of the text (if no text has been selected) to the Clipboard. Note that the copied text retains formatting information (such as font, color, etc.).

Contract/Expand Button Contracts or expands the Summary box. When contracted, you can see only one line of the summary box text and can scroll through the text using a scroll bar. Note that when contracted the text is scrolled so that the first non-blank line is at the top. When expanded (the default setting), the entire summary box will be displayed in the dialog box.
OK Button Continues the analysis and displays the Model Definition dialog box.
Cancel Button Closes the dialog box and returns to the Startup Panel.
Options Button Displays the Options menu.
