Text Free Separators

Click the Additional button in the

Text Free Import Options

dialog to display the Text Free Separators dialog when you want to choose an undefined character as a delimiter when importing text free format files.

Option Description
Separators Contains a list of characters from which you can choose. The characters or symbols listed in this dialog are as follows ( CR/LF stands for carriage return/line feed):

<space>  <tab>  <CR/LF>

!  "  #  $  %  &  ' (  )  * +  ,   -  .  /

0  1  2  3  4  5  6  7  8  9

:  ;  <  =  >  ?  @  

Upper case alphabet (i.e., A  B  C . . . Z)

[  \  ]  ^  _  `

Lower case alphabet (i.e., a  b  c . . . z)

{  |  }  ~

Note: If you want to import numeric values, you should not specify any of the numbers (such as 0 through 9) or the  +, -, or . as separators.
OK Accepts the options selected and returns to the

Text Free Import Options

dialog.
Cancel Closes the dialog without selecting an additional character as a separator.
