GRM - Methods for Specifying Designs
Statistica General Regression Models (GRM) and General Linear Models (GLM) (as well as Generalized Linear/Nonlinear Models (GLZ), General Partial Least Squares Models (PLS), General Discriminant Analysis (GDA), and ANOVA) provide three alternate methods for specifying designs: Via Analysis Wizards, Quick Specs dialoges, and Analysis Syntax. Note that if you choose one of the first two user interface methods, you can always switch to the GRM Analysis Syntax Editor where the GRM syntax describing your current design (as specified via Analysis Wizards or Quick Specs dialoges) will be displayed for further editing; the GRM Analysis Syntax Editor also provides options for saving the design syntax in a text file for repeated use.
Analysis wizards. The simplest method for specifying designs is via Analysis Wizards. If you select this Specification method from the GRM Startup Panel - Quick tab, Statistica will guide you through a series of dialoges for specifying the desired type of design. Via this user-interface, you can specify all univariate and multivariate regression designs.
