StreamBase® provides the epadmin command to query and administer your StreamBase Runtime nodes and clusters. Use epadmin from a configured shell prompt as follows:
-
On Windows, you must use a StreamBase Command Prompt.
-
On macOS and Linux, you must use a shell with a StreamBase-ready environment, as described in StreamBase-Configured Shells.
Use the epadmin command to:
-
                        Manage the lifecycle of nodes
-
                        Discover currently running services
-
Send client access and management commands to EventFlow and LiveView fragments currently running in nodes
-
Make administrative changes to running nodes, such as configuration updates, cluster participation, or HA changes.
-
Configure the secure access settings for nodes.
The epadmin is described on its reference page, and in its extensive built-in help system. Each epadmin command target is described in separate reference pages in the epadmin and epdev References.
