Introduction 

TIBCO(R) Data Virtualization integrates disparate data sources
in real-time instead of copying their data into a data
warehouse. TIBCO Data Virtualization (TDV) allows you to easily
create logical views to integrate and secure data across
disparate data sources and tailor it to your analytical needs.
TDV connects to virtually any data source and provides business
users access to data through JDBC, ODBC, ADO.NET, REST and
SOAP.  When licensed as TIBCO Spotfire(R) Advanced Data
Services, client access is only allowed with the TIBCO
Spotfire(R) client. When licensed as TIBCO JasperSoft(R) Advanced
Data Services, client access is only allowed with the TIBCO
JasperSoft(R) client.  A full TIBCO Data Virtualization license
is required for use of the business directory or clustering as
well for as publishing views as web services or publishing to
any destination other than TIBCO Spotfire and Jaspersoft. See
TDV Release Notes for more clarification on license
restrictions.

Minimum Hardware Requirements

   Disk Space: Minimum disk space requirements:
               * 500 MB for TDV installation
               * 300 MB for the TDV repository database
               Recommended disk space:
               * 10 GB for cache
               * 10 GB for a temp directory on the TDV installation
               partition
               (See Install guide for more details)

   Memory:     * 8 - 16 GB RAM for design and
               development
               * 16 GB RAM and above for production
               (for larger deployments, please review Install Guide)

   CPU:        * 1 - 2 cores for development
               * 4 - 32 cores for production with clustering
               (for larger deployments, please review Install Guide)
