Introduction 

TIBCO(R) Data Virtualization integrates disparate data sources
in real-time instead of copying their data into a data
warehouse. TIBCO(R) Data Virtualization (TDV) allows you to
easily create logical views to integrate and secure data across
disparate data sources and tailor it to your analytical needs.
TDV connects to virtually any data source and provides business
users access to data through JDBC, ODBC, ADO.NET, REST and
SOAP. When licensed as TIBCO Spotfire(R) Advanced Data Services,
client access is only allowed with the TIBCO Spotfire(R) client.
When licensed as TIBCO JasperSoft(R) Advanced Data Services,
client access is only allowed with the TIBCO JasperSoft(R)
client. When licensed as TIBCO(R) Data Virtualization for TIBCO
Cloud Metadata - Metadata Harvesting Limited Edition, client is
only allowed to (re)introspect all supported data sources to
retrieve metadata and provide them to TIBCO Cloud(TM) Metadata
via Web services. When licensed as part of TIBCO(R) Data Science
- Team Studio, TIBCO(R) Data Virtualization access is only
allowed from the TIBCO Data Science - Team Studio Server. A
full TIBCO(R) Data Virtualization license is required for use of
the Business Directory, clustering or provisioning data as well
as publishing views as web services or publishing to any
destination other than TIBCO Spotfire(R), TIBCO Jaspersoft(R),
TIBCO(R) Data Virtualization for TIBCO Cloud Metadata - Metadata
Harvesting Limited Edition, and TIBCO(R) Data Science - Team

restrictions.

Minimum Hardware Requirements

   Disk Space: Minimum of 8 GB read/write, persistent
               storage.
               
               2.0 GB for TDV installation
               1.0 GB for TDV repository database
               5.0 GB for future growth

   Memory:     Minimum of 8 GB memory.
               
               For larger deployments, please refer to the TIBCO(R)
               Data Virtualization Installation Guide.

   CPU:        Minimum of 2 CPUs/cores.

               Data Virtualization Installation Guide.

This service pack release requires you to apply it to a TDV
Server 8.4.3/8.5.X/8.6.1/8.7.0 installation.
This release also provides a new TDV Server installation which
can be used if you want a brand new installation.
