Auto-Discovering Data Sources
TDV provides an auto-discovery feature that automatically discovers and displays relational data sources that are visible on the local area network. If a large number of relational data sources and servers are on the network, the scan results might take a long time to complete. It is usually more efficient to add data sources manually. See Adding Relational Data Sources.
