You can add new permissions to roles defined by a user. However, you cannot add permissions to agent-defined roles.
Procedure
Click the
Users card.
The User Management pane is displayed.
Under Roles, select a user-defined role.
The Role details are displayed.
From the Permissions pane, click
Add.
The Add Permission window is displayed.
Select the product on which you want to add the permission. A list of available permissions is listed.
Select the permissions you want to assign to the role, and select the object type it applies to.
Click
Add.
Note: If you upgrade an agent, you can only have additional permissions on the same agent. You cannot delete or change the existing permission definition.
