Activities define individual tasks in a process.
Adding Activities
Add an activity and activity text to a diagram.
Procedure
1.Click Edit diagram. 2.Click  Drawing tools, and then  Activity tool. | An activity is added to the diagram. |
3.Type activity text into the activity box. | Note: Activities are described using the verb-and-noun format. For example, do this to that. |
4.Click outside of the activity box to save it. | Note: You can reposition the activity by clicking and dragging it. To re-size it, move your cursor over one of the edges until the resizing handles appear, and then click and drag the edge of the activity. |
5.Click Save and then Done.
Editing Activities
Modify the style, properties and links of an activity.
Procedure
1.Click Edit diagram. 2.Click the activity to select it. 3.Click  Edit. 4.In the panel that opens the following tabs are available: Edit allows you to modify the border and background colors.
Properties allows you to modify the activity and commentary text, resources and add some notes.
Display commentary as hint text? will allow users to view the commentary text when they mouseover the activity.
Links allows you to manage drilldowns, attachments and statement links.
Modify any of the properties as required, and then click in the blank space on the diagram to save the changes.
5.Click Save and then Done. Aligning Activities
Align two or more activities.
Procedure
1.Click Edit diagram. 2.Click the activity to select it. Note: Hold Ctrl to select multiple activities.
3.You can either drag the activity to align it with other objects on the page, or click  Alignment tools menu, and choose one of the following options: Align tops
Align rights
Align bottoms
Align lefts
4.Click Save and then Done. Deleting Activities
Delete an activity.
Procedure
1.Click Edit diagram. 2.Click the activity to select it, and then press Delete. 3.Click Save and then Done. Sending Objects Backwards and Forwards
Position objects behind or in front of other objects.
Procedure
1.Click Edit diagram. 2.Click the object to select it. 3.Click  Order tools menu, and then choose one of the following options: Bring forward to bring the selected object forwards.
Bring to front to bring the selected object to the front.
Send backward to send the selected object backwards.
Send to back to send the selected object to the back.
4.Click Save and then Done.
