Promoting Diagrams

When a diagram has been signed off by every assigned authorizer, it can be promoted to a master version and released to users.

Procedure

1.Click the Processes link on the navigation bar and navigate to the diagram you want to promote.

2.Click View draft.

3.Click and then Promote to master.

4.Click PROMOTE DIAGRAM.

Note: When promoting a parent diagram all associated child diagrams that have the status ‘Promotion ready’ will also be promoted. You will be advised if any associated child diagrams do not have the status ‘Promotion ready’. Please navigate to the child diagram to run the promotion.

Note: The promotion of child diagrams cannot be scheduled if the corresponding parent diagram does not have the status ‘Promotion ready’. Please navigate to the parent diagram to run the promotion.
