Editing Storyboard Steps

Modify the steps in a storyboard.

You can reorder steps, delete steps, assign key steps and modify step commentary text. Note that this can only be done on a draft storyboard, and only if it's unlocked for editing.

Procedure

1.Click the Storyboards link on the navigation bar.

2.Click Draft details of the storyboard you want to edit.

3.Click Edit storyboard.

4.Click x steps to display the current steps (where x is the total number of steps in the storyboard).

To reorder steps, click Up or Down for the steps you want to move.

To edit a step, click Edit. You can select whether the step is a key step. You can also modify the commentary text from the following options:

Copy activity commentary and use it as commentary for this storyboard step will use the existing commentary text on the activity as the step commentary text.

Create custom commentary for this storyboard step allows you to define custom step commentary text. Type the commentary text in the text field below the option.

Note: You can change the language of the commentary text by choosing an appropriate language from the language drop-down list.

5.Click OK.

6.To add a step, simply navigate to a diagram and click an activity. The activity will be added as the last step. Click Up or Down to reorder it.

7.To delete a step, click Delete.

8.Click Finish to finish editing the storyboard.

9.Enter a new version number and any change log notes, if required, and then click OK.
