Add floating text to a diagram.

Adding Free Text


Procedure

1.Click Edit diagram.

2.Click Drawing tools, and then More objects > Free text.

A free text box is added to the diagram.

3.Enter some text, and then click in the blank space on the diagram to save it.

Note: You can reposition the free text box by clicking and dragging it. To resize the free text box, move your cursor over one of the edges until the resizing handles appear, and then click and drag the edge of the free text box.

4.Click Save and then Done.

 

Editing Free Text


Modify the style, properties and links of a free text box.

Procedure

1.Click Edit diagram.

2.Click the free text box to select it.

3.Click Edit.

4.In the panel that opens the following tabs are available:

Edit allows you to modify the border and background colors.

Properties allows you to modify the text and hint text.

Links allows you to manage drilldowns and attachments.

Modify any of the properties as required, and then click in the blank space on the diagram to save the changes.

5.Click Save and then Done.

Deleting Free Text


Delete a free text object from a diagram.

Procedure

1.Click Edit diagram.

2.Click the free text box to select it, and then press Delete.

3.Click Save and then Done.

Sending Objects Backwards and Forwards


Position objects behind or in front of other objects.

Procedure

1.Click Edit diagram.

2.Click the object to select it.

3.Click Order tools menu, and then choose one of the following options:

Bring forward to bring the selected object forwards.

Bring to front to bring the selected object to the front.

Send backward to send the selected object backwards.

Send to back to send the selected object to the back.

4.Click Save and then Done.
