Request Authorization on Multiple Documents

Authors and administrators are able to generate authorization requests for multiple documents from within the Document Registry.

Note: To generate authorization requests, the documents must have authorizers assigned.  For information on assigning document authorizers please click here.

Procedure

1.Click the Documents link on the navigation bar.

2.Search for the documents you want to request authorization for.  For information on searching for documents please click here.

3.Select the check boxes of the relevant documents.

4.Click I WANT TO > Request authorization.

5.Click NEXT.

6.In the panel that opens specify the following options:

Notes allow you to add any supporting information about the authorization.

Authorization due date is the date you want the authorization to be completed by.

Selecting the Enable email reminders for authorizers check box, allows you to choose how many days before the authorization deadline you would like to start sending reminders and how many days apart you would like them to be sent.

Enable escalation notifications for past due authorizations allows you to choose when to start sending reminders of past due authorizations to supervisors.

Password, enter your password.

7.   Click SEND.
