Average Get Throughput

The Average Get Throughput is used to display the average Get throughput over a point in time for all spaces and all members.

You can see this information for the last 10 minutes, last 1 hour, last 4 hours, or last day. The top graph shows two data series representing the Space Average Get Throughput and Member Average Get Throughput.

The bottom graph shows two data series showing the number of Get operation performed by all space members and the number of seeding space members sharing the same time line.

The Space Average Get Throughput is computed based on the total number of Get operations issued by all space members over time. The unit of measurement is the number of Get operations per second. The Space Get Throughput represents how fast your applications are issuing Get operations to the spaces.

The Member Average Get Throughput is computed based on the average Get latency performed by all space members over time. The unit of measurement is the number of Get operations per second. The Member Get Throughput represents how fast the underlying ActiveSpaces engine performs a Get operation taking into account the following:

  • the latency of the network connection performance independent of how often a Get operation is issued by your applications.
