Validating a Security Policy File

Procedure

  • At the as-admin command prompt, enter:

    validate [policy_name <string>] policy_file <string>

    where

    policy_name specifies the name of the policy to be validated

    policy_file specifies the the name of the policy file to be validated.

    For example 

    validate policy_name 'mypolicy' policy_file 'policy.txt'
    Note: On Windows, validate policy_file command does not accept back slash ('\') in the directory path
