Prerequisites for Login

Before logging in to SmartMapper Business UI, you need to configure a property file and start the SmartMapper Business UI server.

When launching SmartMapper Business UI for the first time, ensure that you complete all the following tasks:
  1. Configure a property file. See Configuring a Property File for more details.
  2. Add the official driver for the database specified in the property file to the TIBCO_HOME\bw\palettes\smartmapper\7.0\lib directory.
  3. Start SmartMapper Business UI server. See Starting the Server for more details.
Note: Once the property file is configured and the driver is added, you can skip these two steps and just need to start the server when launching SmartMapper Business UI next time.
