Prerequisites for Login

Before logging in to SmartMapper Business UI, you are required to configure a property file and start the SmartMapper Business UI server.

When launching SmartMapper Business UI for the first time, ensure that you complete all the following tasks:

Configure a property file. See Configuring a Property File for more details.
Add the official driver for the database specified in the property file to the TIBCO_HOME\bw\palettes\smartmapper\7.1\admin\lib directory.
Start SmartMapper Business UI server. See Starting the Server for more details.

Note: When the property file is configured and the driver is added, you can skip these two steps and start the server when launching SmartMapper Business UI next time.
