Viewing Privilege Information In the Resource Editor
Privileges represent authorities. They are used by the BPM application to determine which functions the user can access in the application. Users obtain privileges by being mapped to groups and/or positions to which privileges have been assigned.
Note: The BPM application uses privileges in conjunction with
system actions and
user access sets to determine access to functions in the application. For more information, see the
TIBCO Workspace Configuration and Customization guide.
For more information about privileges in general, see Privileges.
Information about privileges can also be viewed on the main Organization Browser screen, as follows:
- information about the privileges inherited by being mapped to a specific group or position — see Viewing Details about an Organization Unit Position or Group.
- information about the privileges held by a specific resource — see Viewing Details about an Individual Resource.
The following subsections describe viewing and assigning privileges using the Resource Editor.
