Running the Core Engine on UNIX Platform

The Core Engine can be run on the UNIX platform.

Procedure

  1. Open a command prompt window.
  2. Navigate to the TIBCO API Exchange Gateway installation as follows: 
    cd ASG_HOME/bin
  3. Type the following command to start the Core Engine: 
    ./asg-engine
    Note: If any errors are seen when starting the Core Engine, ensure that you have completed the steps listed in following sections:

    Setting the System Environment Variables.

    Configuring Apache HTTP Server for TIBCO API Exchange Gateway.
