Differences in processor speed have a direct linear effect upon the performance of application code. Faster processors will result in faster application execution.

Multi-processor and multi-core

Both the TIBCO BusinessEvents® Extreme runtime and the JVM are designed to take advantage of multi-threading capabilities in the underlying operating system. A TIBCO BusinessEvents® Extreme application designed for parallelism will take advantage of multiple processing units, increasing overall throughput.
