SSL Authentication Configuration

You can enable the SSL authentication in TIBCO BusinessEvents Views by configuring SSL for the internal HTTP channel.

To configure internal HTTP channel, provide the relative path of the shared HTTP connection resource to the be.agent.dashboard.http.shared.resource.ref property in the dashboard-class agent of the project’s CDD file. See Configuring Cluster Level Settings for TIBCO BusinessEvents Views for more details on how to edit the CDD file. Then, configure SSL for the shared HTTP connection resource. See TIBCO BusinessEvents Developer’s Guide for more details on how to configure SSL for the HTTP Connection shared resource.

If the shared resource is not found in the location specified in the be.agent.dashboard.http.shared.resource.ref property, the TIBCO BusinessEvents Views reverts to the property-driven mechanism.

After SSL authentication enabled, the TCP/IP mechanism is not used and the dashboard agents automatically revert to pull based updates. The pull based updates uses SSL security authentication to provide security to the updates.
