Alerts Settings Tab Reference
Using different alert settings, you can change the appearance of data points in a chart.
The following table lists the options available on the Alerts Settings tab.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Series | A list of series defined for this chart. Select the series whose alert thresholds you want to set. The thresholds relate to the value field for the series. |
Range (Box on left) | The left-most box lists the ranges available for the chart. You can add and remove ranges, and reorder them. To define a range, you configure the range of values that triggers an alert. Alerts execute in top-down order. That is, the top-most threshold executes first and the bottom-most threshold executes last. The system exit for the first threshold that becomes true. |
Details Settings | |
Enabled | Enables the range for run-time |
Name | Name of the range |
Lower Threshold Upper Thresholds | Lower and upper thresholds for the range are enabled by the checkboxes to the left of the labels. Define the threshold values in the text boxes to the right of the labels. At least one threshold is required (the top and bottom thresholds can be defined using only one threshold value). At runtime, when a data point’s value falls within the specified range, the alert indication displays, as configured. |
