Replacing the State Model

You can remove the existing state model on which the state model component is based on and replace it with a new state model.

Warning:
Replacing a state model resets all settings
When you replace a state model, all state model component settings are reset to default values. You must define the settings again, using the same wizard used when adding a new state model component.

Procedure

  1. With the state model component open in TIBCO BusinessEvents Studio, click the Replace button (located on the upper right of the canvas area.)
  2. The Replace State Model message dialog displays the warning that all data is reset when you replace the state model. Click Yes to continue.
  3. At the State Model Replacement Selection page, select the state model you want to use and click Next.
  4. The rest of the procedure is the same as for adding a new state model component. See Adding a State Model Component for details.
