Installing in Console Mode

In console mode, you can run the installer on a command line.

Prerequisites

From TIBCO eDelivery, download the installation package. You need the TIBCO account credentials (username and password) to download the installation package. If you do not have a user name and password, contact TIBCO Support.

Procedure

  1. Extract the contents of the package to a temporary directory.
  2. On a command line, navigate to that temporary directory to which you extracted the installation package.
  3. Run the following command to start the installation:
    • Microsoft Windows: TIBCOUniversalInstaller.cmd -console
    • Linux: ./TIBCOUniversalInstaller-platform_acronym.bin -console
    • Mac OS: ./TIBCOUniversalInstaller-mac.command -console
  4. Respond to the messages on the command line.
    The installation options are the same as GUI mode, See Installing in GUI Mode for more details.
  5. When the installation is completed, press Enter to exit the installer.
