Record Activities

TIBCO MDM has a set of master CRUD web services. The web service accepts and returns data in name-value pairs to allow the schema to be changed dynamically. However, such variable schema poses a huge challenge for the ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks™ client. Therefore, the ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks™ Plug-in for MDM provides a set of activities to read TIBCO MDM metadata and allow the TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks™ Developer Edition to interact with TIBCO MDM web services using a strongly typed schema.

  • Add Record
    By using the Add Record activity, you can add records and the relative relationship to repositories.
  • Delete Record
    By using the Delete Record activity, you can delete records when they exist, and when the latest version of the records is not in any workflow. You can delete repository records, records related to target records, both repository records and related target records, and future effective date record versions.
  • Merge Records
    By using the Merge Records activity, you can merge already matched records, and also choose to manually merge records. In TIBCO MDM, match and merge of records is performed as two separate activities. You can locate matching records by using the patterns search. After the matches are found, the output of match activity might be merged.
  • Modify Record
    By using the Modify Record activity, you can modify records and the relative relationship in repositories.
  • Query Record
    By using the Query Record activity, you can query records based on the filter criteria.
  • Text Search
    By using the Text Search activity, you can search for human recognizable terms in one or more TIBCO MDM repositories.
