Spotfire 14.3 API Reference
Plots that use axes and expression columns need to check those, when attempting to switch data table. Other plots (such as the table plot) has special columns instead.

The new data table.

Return Value

Type: Boolean
true if changing data table is supported even when no axes or expression columns are matching, false otherwise.
