Creating a Slack Connection

When you create a Slack connection for the first time, ensure that the prerequisites are met. Setting up the prerequisites is a one-time activity that you perform when you establish a connection for the first time.

Note: Before you create a connection, familiarize yourself with Slack. For details on how to use the Slack product, see the Slack product documentation.
  • Creating a Slack Connection for the First Time
    To use TIBCO Flogo® Connector for Slack, you must first create a connection. The Slack connection contains the parameters required to connect to the Slack workspace. You need this connection to interact with the Slack workspace.
  • Creating Subsequent Slack Connections
    If you already have an existing connection for the Slack connector, the connections are displayed on the Connections tab. You need not go through the prerequisites after you establish the connection for the first time.
  • Slack Connector Connection Details
    You can use the Slack Connector window to provide more information of the instance that this connection connects to.
