Testing Fulfillment Provisioning Catalog Configuration
Just as you can test your catalog configuration (see the Testing service orders section ) you can test other configured behavior, including:
-
verifying the resulting ServiceOrderData (check datasets, POD, WOD, ordering)
-
verifying the mapping of data
You can create a series of tests to do this, which you can save, modify, and rerun at any time. You can even run these saved tests from the command line to automate Fulfillment Provisioning Catalog testing. These tests work by injecting a defined SOD into the test flow, and comparing the resulting service order with a defined "expected SOD" to validate the processing.
The tool that allows you to do this is known as koptest. You access this tool using the Fulfillment Provisioning Catalog GUI, and it uses a special test flow to execute the tests.
