A: Migrating from Release 5.3 or Earlier

Migrating to Release 6.x from Release 5.3 or earlier is a two-phase process, requiring first a migration to Release 5.4.

Realm servers that straddle the divide between Releases 5.1 and 5.2 do not communicate.

Components earlier than Release 5.3 do not parse URL lists as arguments.

Procedure

  1. Migrate to Release 5.4.
    Complete the tasks in the Release 5.4 document TIBCO FTL Administration.

    Ensure that all components of your enterprise are functioning correctly.

  2. Migrate to Release 6.x.
    Complete the tasks in this document, see "Migrating from Release 5.4" and the topics that follow it.
