High Availability Deployment

In a High Availability configuration, multiple Jetty Servers on separate machines are employed to provide redundancy so that when a failure occurs, processing of messages continues automatically. The following example shows how two Jetty servers have been configured on separate machines to create a high availability system:

During the installation, in the Install Type dialog box, you can select to install only the Jetty component. You should do this on each Jetty server that you want to configure. For more information, see Decide Whether to Create a High-Availability Configuration.

Note: Because high availability TIBCO iProcess® Web Services Server Plug-in configuration makes extensive use of shared JMS queues, you must select a JMS provider that is capable of providing reliable, highly available JMS connections such as TIBCO EMS.
