Utilities

Accessing and running utilities from the ibi MDM UI is useful in the cloud environment or when accessing the ibi MDM remote server.

To view and run utilities, go to Tools > Utilities. Currently, the Data Cleanup utility is available. You can also access it by navigating to the $MQ_HOME\bin folder.

You can select the following utilities from the Utilities list:

Utility	Description
Data Cleanup	Referred to as the Purge utility. The utility deletes various objects (repository, events, data sources, synchronization formats, and records) within the current company. You can run the utility from the UI or the command line. This utility supports all purge command-line operations. Using the UI: See Running the Data Cleanup Utility. Using the command line: See the "Purge Using Command Line" section in ibi MDMSystem Administration. Caution: The superuser can run the Purge utility for all enterprises. Specifying enterprise details is a must. However, running the utility for all enterprises can delete other enterprise details too.
Others	Select this option to perform operations that are specific to the ibi MDM instance or environment debugging. Caution: An administrator must use this option carefully with the guidance of TIBCO support.
