Format Specific Attributes

The Format Specific Attributes vary based on where you want to deliver the records. Following are the options:

Selection in Delivery Fields displayed in Format Specific Attributes
Backend System
  • Classification Scheme: Specify under which synchronization profile you want to categorize the record.
  • Valid From: The time since when the data is available to the backend system.
    Note:
    • The Valid From date can be less than current date.
    • If the Valid From date is not specified, the current date + 1 day is considered as the synchronization date.
  • Valid Until: The time till when the data is available to the backend system.
  • Deliver Synchronization Profile: Select Yes if you wish to deliver the synchronization profile to the backend system.
  • Generate Output File: Select the option to generate output file.
  • For Data Transfer: If the For Data Transfer option is selected and synchronization is initiated, the meta information with required metadata for data transfer is generated and added to export.zip. For more information, see Data Transfer.
  • Include Repository Metadata: This option is enabled if you have selected the For Data Transfer option. Select this option if you want to include repository metadata in the export.zip file.

The repository metadata includes metadata of the selected root repository in the synchronization profile and all its relationships. By selecting this option, you can later import export.zip in any fresh target enterprise which does not contain any pre-deployed repository metadata. For more information, see Importing Data Using Data Transfer.
